Michael M. Adler Received National Jewish Democratic Council Honor

The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC), the national voice for Jewish Democrats, has honored Michael M. Adler with the NJDC Leadership Award.

The award honors individuals who demonstrate excellence in activism within both the Democratic Party and the Jewish Community.

“Michael’s outstanding leadership skills are well known in Florida and in the national Jewish and political communities,” said Marc R. Stanley, NJDC Chairman. “NJDC was honored to present our Leadership Award to such a deserving individual.”

Living in Miami Beach with his wife Judy, Adler is very involved in numerous political and philanthropic causes. Adler serves on the Board of the Mount Sinai Medical Center and the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. He is a board member and the immediate past Chairman of NJDC. Alder is the Chairman and CEO of the Adler Group, a real estate development company in Miami. Adler was honored with an award reception at The Fontainebleau in Miami Beach on January 29, 2009. More than 160 guests attended, including former State Rep. Elaine Bloom, Judge Amy Dean, State Sen. Dan Gelber, U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek, Broward County Mayor Stacy Ritter, State Rep. Frank Sands, U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and Former U.S. Rep. Larry Smith.
