Michele Bachmann is not remotely a viable presidential candidate for 2012. From her awkward additional State of the Union response to some of her truly bizarre statements (wanting to reduce the federal government to its “original size,” claiming that 1.6 million people attended Glenn Beck’s Washington rally, declaring that the Obama administration is turning America into a “nation of slaves”), she’s not close to ready for prime time.
Having said that, here’s hoping she tries—and tries hard. It will only help bring Democrats together.
