Cleveland Jews Launch Ad Showing Broad Support for Obama

Cleveland, Ohio – This week, members of the Cleveland Chapter of the National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) launched an ad showing the wide community support for Senator Barack Obama’s policies.  More than  1,000 prominent members of the Cleveland Jewish community signed the ad which will appear in the Cleveland Jewish News this week.

“This positive ad shows that the well funded Republican campaign of lies and distortions aimed at Cleveland's Jewish community about Senator Barack Obama has backfired,” said Steven Dettelbach, Chairman of NJDC’s Cleveland Chapter. “The Cleveland Jewish community has spoken up about Obama to set the record straight.” 

The ad makes the following statement on behalf of its signers:

We are Cleveland Area Jews. We Have Studied the Facts. The Record is Clear.
