NJDC Mourns the Loss of Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones

Ira N. Forman, Executive Director of the National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC); Morton Mandel, founder of NJDC and Cleveland Jewish leader; and Steven Dettelbach, Chairman of the Cleveland Chapter of NJDC; released the following statement:

All of us are saddened to hear of the passing of Representative Stephanie Tubb Jones (D-OH).

An outstanding advocate for Cleveland and issues important to the Jewish community, Tubbs Jones will be deeply missed.

We hope that her many friends and family will be comforted by her memory and her lifetime of passion and activism that left a lasting mark on Cleveland and on U.S politics.
