Listed in: Israel, NJDC News, Press Releases

WASHINGTON, DC- The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) today released a new web video featuring Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak—a former Prime Minister and Israel’s most decorated soldier—and former Ambassador Dennis Ross speaking about President Barack Obama’s “unprecedented” security cooperation with Israel. NJDC President and CEO David A. Harris said:

“President Barack Obama has a rock-solid pro-Israel record that far too many Republicans have wrongfully tried to tear down this election cycle. This new web video will help pro-Israel Americans cut through the lies and smears coming from Republicans by amplifying the voices of those who know the U.S.-Israel relationship best: Israel’s most decorated soldier and current Defense Minister Ehud Barak, and former Ambassador Dennis Ross, who has been at the forefront of U.S.-Israel relations for decades. The President deserves tremendous credit for his work to strengthen Israel’s security—which includes the largest-ever joint military exercise that is happening right now. Quite simply, his pro-Israel record is second to none when it comes to U.S.-Israel security cooperation.”
