Schakowsky’s pro-Israel record speaks for itself.
In their endorsement of Schakowsky, the Chicago Sun-Times editorial board noted:
“Where Pollak, a legal researcher and writer, completely runs afoul of the truth, however, is in his effort to portray Schakowsky as insufficiently pro-Israel. What nonsense.
Schakowsky, who is Jewish, calls the insinuation ‘hurtful.’ She has been an unwavering friend of Israel, with an overwhelmingly strong pro-Israel voting record.”

Schakowsky’s record on Israel is exemplary:
She has co-sponsored all major Iran sanctions legislation proposed in the House since 1999.
She is in favor of U.S. funding for Israel’s Iron Dome missile shield, which protects Israeli citizens from Hamas and Hezbollah rockets.
She has joined calls for the immediate release of Corporal Gilad Shalit from his Hamas captors.
She also has been a vocal opponent of Palestinian terrorism and intransigence.
