NJDC Joins with Israeli Embassy and IAN in Denouncing Biased “60 Minutes” Israel Report

This morning, Israel’s Ambassador to the United States Michael Oren shared a Buzzfeed article that contained the correspondence between himself and “60 Minutes” in advance of their biased and badly reported story regarding Palestinian Christians. Prior to the story’s airing on Sunday, Oren worked to convey the truth to those responsible for the story at CBS. However, after interviewing Oren, “60 Minutes” continued to produce a story that unfairly singled out Israel. 

In response to CBS’ refusal to correct the story, the Israel Action Network—a joint partnership between the Jewish Federations of North America and the Jewish Council for Public Affairs—has organized an online petition for Israel’s supporters to constructively react to this one-sided story.
