U.S. and Israel To Jointly Develop New Missile Interceptor

Israel and the United States will be working together to develop the new Arrow-3 interceptor. The new system will eventually be integrated into Israel’s current missile defense strategy.  The U.S. will be funding the project, which could cost up to $100 million.  Development of the new interceptor comes not long after President Barack Obama pushed through $205 million for Israel’s Iron Dome missile shield.
