What Barak and Peres Said Today

David A. Harris — July 30, 2012 – 5:40 pm | Barack Obama | Israel | Stop the Smears Comments (0) Add a comment

While some are unfortunately spreading untruths about President Barack Obama’s record on Israel, Israel’s Defense Minister Ehud Barak and President Shimon Peres spoke to CNN in separate interviews today. What did Israel’s top leaders say? The man charged with defending Israel, and the father of Israel’s defense industry?

Defense Minister Barak said:

I should tell you honestly that this Administration under President Obama is doing in regard to our security more than anything that I can remember in the past.

President Peres said:

I look at the record of President Obama concerning the major issue of security. I think it’s a highly satisfactory record from an Israeli point of view.

These reactions from Israel’s top leaders square perfectly with our President’s unprecedented record when it comes to strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship, and stopping Iran

Please help set the record straight by posting this information to your Facebook page, Twitter account, and other social media pages.
