Members of NJDC’s leadership and NJDC supporters met today with Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat who is currently on a two week tour of the United States. Barkat spoke about the work that he is doing to improve Jerusalem for all its residents—Jewish and Arab alike—and to turn some of Israel’s poorest areas into thriving cultural and economic centers.
