Senator Baucus Praises NJDC

This morning NJDC participated in a briefing on the health insurance reform bill by Democratic Senate Leaders where Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) said, “We want to just express our deep appreciation for so many groups supporting this legislation that are all standing behind us ... [including] the National Jewish Democratic Council.”

At the briefing, Baucus was joined by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV),  Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT), and Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) as they gave an update on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
