Boehner Still Backs Iott after Nazi Reenactment Revelations

Politico reported today that aspiring House Speaker Representative John Boehner (R-OH) still backs Nazi-reenacting House candidate Rich Iott (R-OH). According to Politico:

House Minority Leader John Boehner is still soliciting funds for a longshot Ohio House candidate who has dressed up as Nazi officer in historical re-enactment events. And, according to a spokesman, Boehner doesn’t fear any backlash.

Boehner’s insistence on backing Iott demonstrates that he is out of touch with the American people and that he simply does not understand how alarming Iott’s actions are. The report that “Boehner doesn’t fear any backlash” is further cause for concern because it shows that his political ambitions trump the seriousness of Iott’s actions.

His staunch support for Iott raises serious questions about whether or not Boehner has what it takes to represent all Americans—including Jews and WWII veterans—in a position of national leadership, should he become Speaker of the House.

Here they go again, the stupid,non-thinking acts of the Republican thinking…Boehner supporting wannabee Nazi Iott.  Insensitive as all get out and just for the financial supp-ort of this looney candidate.  This season has sure opened the doors of the loony bin and look what ran out!
