Dear President-elect Barack Obama,
We in the Jewish community congratulate you on a successful and historic campaign to become our 44th President. Your election sends a clear message that Jewish Americans, as well as the rest of the country, want to see a new era in American politics after the last eight years of the disastrous Bush administration.
We are proud that the Jewish community looked beyond the shameless attacks and smears that ran rampant in our community during this election.
During your campaign, both you and Vice President-elect Joe Biden reached out to the Jewish community like no campaign had ever done before. Your efforts in our community helped you gain an overwhelming majority of the Jewish vote. We look forward to continuing this strong relationship throughout your presidency.
We look forward to seeing you and Vice President-elect Biden take the oath of office on Inauguration Day! What a country!

Mazal Tov to Barack Obama, his family and Joe Biden and his family for a campaign well run. I look forward to the next four years and a change in this country.
We were so worried about the McCain/Palin ticket and are sooooo thrilled that you stayed ABOVE their fact-smearing campaign and were true to what we KNEW to be your honest character!
I pray that you can continue to work your magic given the continued resentment on the part of some neo-cons in the media who insist on stirring up, still, fear and hatred!
May all forces of nature protect you and your family! And, may the Congress allow you to make this country whole!
What a Great Day it was! We wish you and Michelle and the children all the best. You’ve made us all proud to be Americans….
