False Religion?

NJDC — September 23, 2013 – 4:09 pm | Election 2013 Comments (0) Add a comment

In response to offensive comments made earlier today by Republican lieutenant governor candidate E.W. Jackson:

NJDC believes that there is no such thing as “some sort of false religion’ and that all people’s beliefs should be respected, both in the pulpit and in every day life.  Rev. Jackson is entitled to his religious biases, but bringing them into elected office runs contrary to the foundational values on which this country is built. Virginia voters should be concerned about a ticket that tolerates such representations; one does not include people of all faiths.
