Fisher: Don’t Leave the Court

Jason Attermann — November 22, 2010 – 10:37 am | Democrats | Election 2010 Comments (0) Add a comment

The National Jewish Democratic Council acknowledges and commends our long time friend and supporter, Lieutenant Governor Lee Fisher (D-OH) for his display of good sportsmanship and integrity. Despite losing the race for the Ohio Senate seat, Fisher pledged his commitment to public service and refused to “leave the court.” Fisher released a post-election video in which he tells Ohioans to not stop “fighting for those people who work hard and play by the rules and just want a fair shot at the American dream.”

The video can be viewed here and below.

Fisher’s inspirational video speaks volumes about his dedication to his work and loyalty to the people of Ohio. We hope future elected officials emulate Fisher’s record as an effective and upright civil servant. We thank Fisher for his continued support of NJDC and wish him luck in his future endeavors.
