There are a few good pieces on the situation in Minnesota.

Here’s an excerpt from USA Today:

Democrat Al Franken, currently 261 votes ahead of Republican Norm Coleman in the never-ending Minnesota Senate contest, says he expects a trial challenging recount results will be over in the next two to three weeks.

“I’m quite certain it’s going to reconfirm the recount. And at that point I hope to be seated,” Franken told Democrats at a dinner Saturday.

Franken came out slightly ahead of Coleman in a recount, which Coleman promptly challenged in court. Minnesota law prevents certification of an election while legal action is pending.
