Gender Gap in the Pew Report?

You’ve probably heard about the Pew Report on Jewish life in America, which has generated so much discussion. But was there a gender gap in the responses?  What more can we learn about our community by looking through a gender lens?

On  November 18th, the NJDC Women’s Leadership Network hosted a conference call with Allan Cooperman, (Deputy Director of the Pew Research Center, Religion and Public Life Project), for a gender-focused discussion on the Pew Report “A Portrait of Jewish Americans”.

We discussed the results in depth, and here are a few of our favorite findings.
