GOP Candidates Dispute Global Warming

Despite extensive evidence proving the link between man-made greenhouse gas emissions and global warming, some GOP candidates are now openly questioning the scientific facts.

According to Politico, here’s what some of the Republican candidates had to say about climate change:

*Ron     Johnson, running against Wisconsin Sen. Russ Feingold (D), said, “I absolutely     do not believe in the science of man-caused climate change. It’s not     proven by any stretch of the imagination.”

*Sharron     Angle, running against Majority Leader Harry Reid (D) said legislation to     curb greenhouse gases “is based on an unscientific hysteria over the     man-caused global warming hoax.”

*Ken     Buck, Colorado’s Republican Senate nominee stated, “...I don’t think that     causes are the primary factor for global warming. And, and I am one of     those people that Al Gore refers to as a  skeptic.”

Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) spokeswoman Deirdre Murphy noted, “Denying global warming is just the tip of the iceberg for the new crop of extremist Republican Senate candidates,” citing comments from Republicans on Social Security, Medicare and unemployment benefits.

Actually the correct term would be Severe Global Climate Instability!
It is real and it is both related to cyclical events, mainly originating from our Sun, and also environmentally unsound human activity, including over-population and pollution. The GOP are blinded by greed…as usual.
