Few observers of American politics would dispute the fact that we are in a period in which the political rhetoric is extreme and coarse.  Political combatants are increasingly willing to say the most outrageous, or patently false, things about their opponents or policies they oppose.  Though this coarsening of the political culture cannot be exclusively blamed on the GOP, it is largely Republican (or conservative) actors who have excelled in the modern art of mudslinging.

Therefore NJDC will, under the title of “Have They No Shame,” regularly try to expose the most shameless examples of conservative rhetorical excess.
