JTA is reporting that Rep. Jane Harman (D-CA) will not be investigated by the Justice Department after allegations of misconduct. Earlier in the year, Harman had been accused of passing confidential information to two American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) staffers, which was overheard on government wire tap.

A statement was released by Harman’s office reiterating that no wrongdoing had taken place and cited a Justice Department letter stating that Harman “is neither a subject nor a target of an ongoing investigation by the Criminal Division.”
