NJDC Joins Halvorson in Condemning Hitler Signs in IL-11

NJDC condemns the use of signs comparing elected officials to Hitler and the Nazis. Period.

As we have repeatedly said before, it is never acceptable to invoke the Holocaust in political discourse.

It should be noted that, according to Media Matters, the particular instance in IL-11 is the work of an individual and not connected to any campaign. Media Matters also reported [emphasis by Media Matters]:

Halvorson’s campaign has since condemned the signs, saying that ‘the congresswoman would never condone anyone comparing Kinzinger or any candidate to Hitler.’
