This election, there is a clear choice between the vision articulated by President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown and the vision articulated by the Republican trio of Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and Josh Mandel.
The president and Sen. Brown have worked tirelessly to expand civil rights, make health insurance more affordable, defend women’s rights and protect the middle class. In stark contrast, Romney, Ryan, and Mandel are committed to infringing upon a woman’s right to choose; opposing the Buffett Rule -which would continue to keep millionaires from paying their fair share in taxes; and repealing Obamacare, which would leave millions uninsured.
All six of these candidates are pro-Israel, but unlike Mitt Romney and Josh Mandel, President Obama and Sen. Brown have vast track records of dedicated support for Israel at the federal level to prove it. The three Democrats have made it abundantly clear that they stand behind Israel diplomatically and militarily. The Obama administration and Sen. Brown have also partnered to pass the most devastating sanctions against Iran in history, which have left Iran’s economy in shambles.
Because of this, Jewish Ohioans will choose President Obama, Vice President Biden and Sen. Brown on Election Day.
