Palin Embraces Ron Paul & Whitewashes His Anti-Israel Record

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin not only embraced Republican presidential candidate Representative Ron Paul (R-TX)—who has a well-known anti-Israel record—but attempted to whitewash Paul’s miserable Israel record during an interview with Fox News. According to Palin:

He came out the last couple of days talking about how pro-Israel he is. He just wants to go about the protecting of our ally in a different way than most of us would want to… Ron Paul evidently has some other ideas on how he’s supporting Israel.

A blogger at the conservative American Thinker noted that this is not the first time that Palin has “legitimized” Paul.

As a conservative Republican and Jew, I am aghast that even 20 plus percent of Iowans would vote for Ron Paul, who is not only an anti-semite, but also terrible policy wise (especially in the foreign policy arena).

Moreover, whenever he speaks, I hear twilight zone music.  He can’t be gone fast enough, and most true conservatives agree with me on this.
