If you thought the issues with the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) were over as soon as the government re-opened, think again. As of today (November 1st) SNAP is losing $5 billion in funding. The expiration of this supplemental funding, which was put in place with the 2009 Stimulus, means that an average family of 4 will lose $36 per month.
