Stanley Fischer Nominated for Fed Post

Today, President Obama nominated Stanley Fischer for the Vice Chairman of the Federal Reserve. He would be filling the role previously held by Janet Yellen, the incoming Chair of the Fed.

Mr. Fischer is a former head of the Bank of Israel and has previously held senior positions at the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
