The Star-Ledger of New Jersey ran a piece profiling NJDC’s efforts in New Jersey:

The National Jewish Democratic Council today said it is launching an unprecedented Jewish outreach effort in the upcoming New Jersey election. The organization’s project will include field organizers, advertising, direct mail, literature drops, trainings, surrogate speaking, phone banking and canvassing.

And:

To educate Jewish voters, the organization’s New Jersey outreach team will address important issues such as reproductive freedom, stem cell research, health care, gun control and strengthening the economic partnership between Israel and New Jersey.

Linda Berg, NJDC’s Political Director, said of the campaign:

“There are stark differences between the Republican and Democratic candidates in New Jersey on issues that Jewish voters care deeply about. NJDC is excited to launch this unprecedented outreach effort to educate Jewish voters statewide”
