Tea Party Nation Doubles Down on Nazi Rhetoric; Republicans Remain Silent

On Tuesday, NJDC called on Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), who delivered the Tea Party Movement’s rebuttal to the state of the union, to denounce the comparison of liberals to the Nazis by Tea Party Nation.

Not only did Paul and other Tea Party-affiliated Republicans remain silent, but Tea Party Nation doubled down on their offensive comparison.

As we’ve said before, using the memory of the Holocaust in this way to make a political point is indefensible, and we call upon Tea Party-affiliated Republicans to denounce this offensive rhetoric.
