Tea Party Chairman: MOC’s “Brushing Up on Mein Kampf”

For those who question whether the Tea Party officially uses abusive Holocaust rhetoric to rally its members, look no further than Tea Party Chairman Mark Williams’ recent interview. On national television, Williams claimed that some members of Congress are “brushing up on Mein Kampf” in order to “criminalize dissent.” Watch the video:

Williams’ statement coincides with recent reports of Tea Party activists acting inappropriately and violently towards Democrats who voted for President Barack Obama’s health care bill. In one particular case, Representative Anthony Weiner (D-NY) reported that he and his staff received anti-Semitic phone calls and letters.

Weiner’s account is indicative of the rising level of toxic Holocaust rhetoric that stems from the misinformation campaign surrounding health care reform. Why then would the chairman of the Tea Party fuel this frightening trend on national television?
