The Pentagon announced that it has signed a missile defense agreement with Israel. The latest deal will help expand the progress of the David’s Sling Missile system and ensure that the system will become operational. Reportedly, the system will help Israel defend itself specifically against the crude, unsophisticated missiles frequently used by Hezbollah and Hamas.

Pentagon officials said that the agreement emphasizes “the continued commitment of the United States to the defense of Israel.”
