What would you like to receive for Valentine’s Day this year?  While many of us might receive flowers, chocolates and jewelry from our admirers and loved ones, let’s consider a few more public spirited gifts from those whom we elected to represent our interests in Congress. This year, let’s ask our Senators and Members of Congress for our Valentine’s Day gifts.

Please tweet, post or list on your Facebook page any of the following issues that you believe would make a real difference to the success of women in America. Please add the hashtag #WhatWomenNeed

Equal Pay for Equal work

A Livable Wage

Paid Sick Leave

Accessible, Quality Child Care

Full funding for the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)

Gun Safety Laws

Affordable Health Care & Choices

A Comprehensive Immigration bill that supports and protects families

Wishing you a day full of love and respect on Feb. 14th.
