WASHINGTON,  DC- The National Jewish Democratic Council today launched its media campaign surrounding to the 2013 American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) Policy Conference (PC). NJDC Executive Director Aaron Keyak said:

“In a time when Washington,  DC is becoming increasingly polarized along party lines, AIPAC Policy Conference is a place to appreciate the deep, bipartisan support for the U.S.-Israel relationship. Policy Conference gives the pro-Israel community a good opportunity to reflect on President’s many accomplishments in strengthening the bond between our two countries—in part compiled in our ‘Top Ten’ list at njdc.org/ObamaTopTen. We will continue to fight against the mud slinging by anti-Obama partisan operatives and elected officials who are looking to score cheap political points. We know that the pro-Israel community is at its strongest when we hold true to our beliefs and leave partisan arguments aside as we advocate for the unifying cause we care so deeply about.”

NJDC will be bracketing the conference this year by:

* Distributing “Proud Pro-Israel Dem” buttons to AIPAC PC attendees. Buttons are also available at www.njdc.org/ProudProIsraelDem

* Circulating a by-the-numbers breakdown of President Obama’s Israel record available at www.njdc.org/ObamaTopTen

* Deploying the Facebook graphic pictured at www.njdc.org/ObamaTopTen

* Publishing an op-ed by NJDC Chair Marc R. Stanley in The Times of Israel about how President Obama’s Israel record reflects the pro-Israel community’s agenda

* Live tweeting the conference at @NJDC and providing rapid response analysis to the media
