Yesterday, the AP’s story on the Coleman/Franken race began with, “What lasts longer than a Minnesota winter? The struggle to choose the nation’s 100th senator.” Unfortunately, that seems to be literally true.
Although the entire country, both Democrats and Republicans, has endured Minnesota’s long journey toward electing its junior U.S. Senator, there is one group that is particularly interested - Jewish voters. Since a lot of Jewish voters follow this blog, we’re now begining the (hopefully short-lived), “Coleman/Franken Monday Roundup.” This blog has been following the race for Minnesota’s next senator closely since November, but as of yet, we are still waiting for an end.
Here’s your Monday roundup:
WSJ: “Absentee Ballot Pile Shrinks in Minnesota Senate Trial”
AP: “Minn. Senate race leaves voters tired of law drama”
StarTrib: “Will we have a second election?”
CQ: “Coleman Court Case Will Run Course as Franken Petition Is Denied”
