Senate Leaders Speak with Rabbis About Health Care Reform

Aaron Keyak — December 23, 2009 – 3:33 pm | Congress | Democrats | Domestic Policy | Health Care Comments (0) Add a comment

Last Tuesday, NJDC hosted a rabbis-only health insurance reform conference call with Senators Ben Cardin (D-MD) and Debbie Stabenow (D-MI). Rabbis on the call were able to get their questions answered and received an update on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. The call was particularly salient because the Senate is currently at the center of the effort to reform our nation’s health insurance system, and NJDC continues to stand with Senate leadership to make sure we succeed; click here to see Senator Max Baucus’s (D-MT) thanking NJDC for our support.

If you’d like to listen, here’s the audio from the call.

Also, please share your thoughts regarding this historic moment for health insurance reform in the comments section below and we will share your reactions with the Senate’s Democratic leadership at this critical time.
