Australia Approves New Sanctions Against Iran

Australia announced that it is imposing new sanctions against Iran because of Iran’s nuclear weapons ambitions.  The sanctions are similar to the ones passed by the United States, the European Union, and Canada. Australia is just the latest country to join President Barack Obama in making the prevention of a nuclear-armed Iran a top foreign policy priority.
