Jillian Rayfield has recently written an article for TPM that lists Republican politicians who have “jump[ed] on the birther bandwagon,” resorting to baseless attacks on President Barack Obama’s citizenship as a means by which to conduct political discourse. The list includes:

• Senator David Vitter (R-LA)
• Arizona Senate candidate former Representative J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ)
• Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli (R-VA)
• Representative Nathan Deal (R-GA)
• Representative Trent Franks (R-AZ)
• Representative Patrick McHenry (R-NC)
• Senator James Inhofe (R-OK)
• Representative Roy Blunt (R-MO)
